Everyone deserves a beautiful smile!
One way of obtaining a brighter smile is by whitening. This can be achieved in several different ways:
- In office whitening – performed by Dr. Ellen and staff while
in the office.
(This procedure takes about 1-1 1/2 hours)
- At home whitening – custom made comfortable whitening trays are constructed to precisely fit the patient. At home, the patient can use whitening solution in these trays for 1 hour or overnight treatment.
- Crest White Strips – now are available in Professional or Supreme strength which is anywhere from 42% to up to 80% stronger than over the counter and are only able to be purchased at a dental office.
Whitening will not lighten porcelain crowns and some tooth-colored restorations. Some patients may not be good candidates. Just ask to see if you are an appropriate candidate.
